Earn a RECS Designation with Real Eastate Cyberspace Society!
Membership in the Real Estate CyberSpace Society provides the opportunity to earn the RECS (Real Estate CyberSpace Specialist) Designation. Over 8000 Society members have been awarded the RECS (Real Estate CyberSpace Specialist) designation since September 1997.
The RECS designation lets clients and colleagues know of your proficiency in serving the public with recognized skills for utilizing CyberSpace marketing programs and for effectively adopting special technology and networking systems.
1. If you are not yet a Society Member, you must first apply for membership.

3. Once you are a Society Member, you may apply for the RECS Designation.

Designation Requirements:
- Membership in good standing in the Real Estate CyberSpace Society,
- Completion of one Society approved course (See waiver information below)
- Completion of Online Practicum. (Waived during Convention and NAR Recognition Program)
Approved Courses (Any one of the following):
(NOTE: Until March 31, 2007, all courses delivered in connection with NAR designation programs have received pre approval.)
- Any course conducted by the Real Estate CyberSpace Society, or
- The NAR e-PRO course, or
- Participation at any NAR produced On-line or hard floor Convention, or
- Participation at any Society produced On-line Convention, or
- Completion of the Society Seminar video and workbook, or
- Completion of any approved course delivered by a Society approved school or instructor.
There is no cost to Society members for the RECS designation. It is important to understand that the modest annual membership fee for Society membership is not a payment for the RECS designation but to cover the all-inclusive delivery of all of the Society's services. Society membership is a prerequisite for the awarding, use and continuing display of the RECS Designation.
